DENVER — Denver Botanic Gardens has named the University of Denver as the exclusive Growth Partner for Transformation Hub, a leadership program focused on environmental sustainability, systems thinking and community leadership.
The two-year partnership covers 2026 and 2027 and will support the program, which launched in 2024. Participants explore leadership through topics including environmental stewardship, collaboration and community engagement.
“DU’s support of Transformation Hub will help grow and strengthen the program through their expertise in leadership education and environmental stewardship across their operations,” Melissa Schaap, associate director of development for corporate partnerships at Denver Botanic Gardens, said.
The program will conclude with a cross-cultural leadership experience in Sicily in September 2027, followed by projects in Denver that apply lessons learned to local communities.
Monthly leadership gatherings are scheduled from June through October. The July session, Global Table at Chatfield Farms: La Guelaguetza, will highlight the Indigenous cultural festival celebrated in Oaxaca, Mexico.
A limited number of openings remain for the current cohort.
