The 9th & Colorado development (9+CO) is about to get a dose of global flair.
This spring, the 26-acre urban infill community will welcome Therapy, a new retail concept designed to transform shipping from a transaction into an emotional experience.
Founded by real estate veteran and world traveler Caitlin Keys, Therapy is a nod to the “retail therapy” phenomenon. Located at 4144 8th Place, the boutique aims to bridge the gap between high-design international fashion and the active Denver lifestyle.
With a career spanning hotel development and international real estate sales, Keys has visited nearly 50 countries, including residencies in Chile and Spain.
“Some of my most meaningful travel memories are tied to the small shops I stumbled upon,” she said in a statement. “Therapy is an extension of that feeling, a space where discovery, beauty and intention intersect.”
The boutique’s inventory will reflect Keys’ global perspective, featuring artisan statement pieces from international designers, a mix of tennis, pickleball and padel apparel and a commitment to women designers, small-batch production and sustainability.
Keys, who is fluent in Spanish, plans to launch with a spotlight on Mexican designers, alongside collaborators from Bali, Dubai, Italy, Japan and Australia.
Keys chose 9+CO because the location integrates into her clientele’s daily rhythm, whether they’re killing time before a movie at the AMC or grabbing a post-Pilates espresso.
Continuum also recently announced that long-time Cherry Creek North fixture HW Home is relocating to a new 10,000-square-foot showroom 9+CO.
“Therapy is exactly the type of tenant 9+CO was built to attract, one that values community and has a unique point of view to share with customers,” said Matt Schartz, director of asset management at Continuum Partners, who developed the property in a joint venture with Carlton Associates.
