Cherry Groove music festival coming to Denver

Cherry Creek North will hold its first Cherry Groove music festival Aug. 28 and 29 at Fillmore Plaza in Denver.
The two-day event will feature nine local bands, food and drinks. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Yoga Box will lead a yoga session from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
Friday’s lineup includes Lonely Choir, Patrick Dethlefs Band, Sugar Britches and The Burroughs. Saturday’s scheduled performers include Holdfast., On the Dot, Silver & Gold, Marfa and Pretty Jane. Additional opening acts will be announced.
“Cherry Groove is our love letter to the end of summer with two days of live music, right here in the heart of the neighborhood,” Cherry Creek North President and CEO Nick LeMasters said.
Denver restaurant Every Little Thing will serve food during the festival.
