Axis Integrated Mental Health offers a holistic approach to mental health by integrating various therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy, medication management, and holistic wellness practices. A diverse team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, counselors, and treatment technicians form a collaborative care team. This interdisciplinary team creates an effective treatment plan that can target both the biological and social basis for mental illness.
The clinic treats conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD, and offers treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato (esketamine) therapy, and ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Axis Integrated Mental Health leverages technology such as telehealth services and digital platforms for scheduling and communication, which help to remove barriers to treatment. The group also donates mental health services to support individuals who otherwise would not have afforded treatment.
CEO Christopher Perez and CMO Liesl Perez launched Axis after one of their children was diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety. The couple experienced firsthand the shortcomings of Colorado’s mental health system, ranking last in the nation for prevalence of mental illness and access to care, according to the nonprofit Mental Health America. “Our commitment to transforming mental healthcare in Colorado is rooted in a deep-seated belief that everyone deserves access to quality support and resources for their mental well-being,” Liesl said.
