Eliza Steinberg

Eliza is a standout leader whose career journey reflects unmatched dedication, grit and care for her community. She began at Griffiths Law nearly 14 years ago as a personal assistant and worked her way up while attending law school at night. She earned her law degree, passed the bar and rose to become a shareholder and Chief Human Resources Officer by 2021. In 2024, she was promoted to equity partner, a testament to her impact and leadership within the firm.
Eliza mentors new lawyers and paralegals with the same guidance she once received, helping team members like Kellian Coggswell advance from paralegal to attorney. She trains law clerks, shapes firm policies and keeps an open door for every staff member, earning trust as Griffiths Law’s “go-to” resource for training and support.
Her leadership extends far beyond the firm. Eliza serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Judicial Institute to strengthen Colorado’s independent judiciary and continues pro bono work through ALIGHT, offering free legal aid to victims of human trafficking. She has dedicated over 70 hours in the past year to pro bono cases while balancing a thriving family law practice.
Her accolades include 5280 Magazine’s Top Lawyer for 2025, Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2020 and Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch each year since 2021.
As a mother of two, Eliza champions generous parental leave and flexible firm policies that inspire other firms to follow suit. Her unwavering dedication, mentorship and client advocacy make her a model for legal excellence and community service.
