Lynn Caligiuri is executive director of Mountain Area Land Trust, a nonprofit land and water conservation organization serving Colorado’s Front Range communities across Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson, Park and Teller counties.

Since joining MALT in 2015 as director of development and becoming executive director in 2023, she has helped expand protected land to 29,863 acres an area larger than Golden, Evergreen, Morrison and Conifer combined.

She has increased revenue by 182% through fundraising, grants, legacy giving, and sponsorships, while strengthening relationships with donors, partners, and community organizations.

Caligiuri has built a culture of collaboration, expanded grant funding, launched a fellowship program for emerging conservation professionals and created an impact-driven communications program to raise awareness across the Front Range.

In 2025, she led a shift from a single annual gala to a series of community events that met sponsorship goals early, exceeded prior attendance and positioned MALT for a record fundraising year.

Under her leadership, MALT surpassed 100 conservation easements in 2025 and completed three additional easements year to date in 2026 while advancing an outdoor education campus at Sacramento Creek Ranch that serves as a community center and home of the High Rockies Community School.

She has grown staff from five to eight and expanded organizational capacity fivefold while opening MALT facilities to partners including Keep it Colorado Evergreen Legacy Fund and other conservation organizations.
