Advantage Services Group has acquired Doctor Fix-It, a Denver-area provider of heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical services.
Founded in 1978, Doctor Fix-It serves homeowners throughout the Denver metropolitan area. The acquisition expands Advantage Services Group’s Colorado operations, which include Elkhorn Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical and Balance Point Heating, Cooling & Plumbing.
Following the acquisition, Doctor Fix-It’s operations have been integrated with Elkhorn, creating a larger residential services platform in Colorado. The companies said customers will continue receiving service while gaining access to expanded training, technology investments and operational resources.
“Colorado has been an important market for Advantage Services Group, and Doctor Fix-It represents exactly the type of company we seek to partner with,” said David Williams, CEO of Advantage Services Group.
Doctor Fix-It has earned an A+ rating and accreditation from the Better Business Bureau and was recognized as a Top 200 Private Company by ColoradoBiz in 2021. The company also has been certified as a Great Place to Work organization.
“Bringing Doctor Fix-It together with Elkhorn creates a stronger platform for employees and customers across the Denver Metro,” said Kevin Cassidy, regional vice president of Colorado for Advantage Services Group.
Advantage Services Group partners with residential service companies across the United States. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
