Rebecca “Becky” Stone

Rebecca (Becky) Stone is an accomplished architect and visionary leader whose career embodies the belief that everyone deserves well-designed spaces to live, work and play. As a principal at OZ Architecture, Becky has shaped communities across Colorado and beyond by combining thoughtful design with sustainable, resilient development. Her work has redefined ski resorts, golf communities and urban neighborhoods, creating vibrant destinations that enrich the lives of residents and visitors alike.
Becky’s design philosophy integrates adaptive reuse, conservation-based planning and energy-efficient strategies, setting a high standard for environmental responsibility in the resort, hospitality and urban sectors. From transforming iconic wilderness destinations like the Grand Canyon, Lone Rock Retreat and the Oasis at Death Valley to urban revitalization projects like the Mission Ballroom Masterplan and Giambrocco/38th and Blake TOD, Becky’s portfolio reflects her commitment to placemaking at every scale.
In the past year, Becky’s leadership has advanced major projects such as the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley East and Kindred Resort at Keystone, elevating community programming, resilience and enduring aesthetics. Her stakeholder-driven design process fosters collaboration, mentorship and fresh dialogue, helping communities thrive.
Beyond her project work, Becky invests deeply in her industry and her community. She serves on AIA Denver’s Advisory Council, ULI Colorado’s Management Committee and chairs the ULI Colorado Impact Awards, championing design’s role in community enrichment. She mentors women through the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative and drives inclusion within OZ by ensuring diverse voices shape every project.
