DENVER — The America 250 – Colorado 150 Digital Passport Program is launching three new digital passports in 2026 that encourage residents and visitors to explore destinations across Colorado while earning travel rewards.

Participants can win $500 in United travel credits and a grand prize of 150,000 United MileagePlus miles by checking in at participating locations across the state. Each check-in earns entries into prize drawings held throughout the year.

The program coincides with Colorado’s 150th anniversary of statehood and the nation’s 250th anniversary of independence in 2026.

The free passports are delivered to participants’ phones and use GPS to verify visits at participating sites. No app download is required.

Three themed passports will be available through Dec. 31, 2026.

The 64 County Challenge passport encourages participants to visit destinations in all 64 counties. Locations include Fort Morgan’s historic downtown, Creede’s mining district, Old Town Fort Collins, the Wray Museum and historic sites in Julesburg.

The Do Colorado Right passport focuses on responsible travel. Participants can check in at EV charging stations, bike rental shops, visitor centers and businesses that promote sustainable travel. Locations include Browns Canyon National Monument and the Leadville Visitors Center.

The Eat & Drink Local passport highlights Colorado’s food and beverage businesses, including restaurants, wineries, breweries and distilleries. Stops include Aspen Peak Cellars, Treeline Kitchen, Bookcliff Vineyards and Minturn Whisky Co.

Participants can sign up for passports and check in at participating locations through Colorado.com, the MyColorado app and Am250CO150.org.

The passport program is part of the America 250 – Colorado 150 Commission’s efforts to mark Colorado’s 150th anniversary of statehood and the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026. The commission was established by Gov. Jared Polis and the Colorado General Assembly to coordinate statewide events and programs tied to the milestone year.
