Premium theater operator Emagine Entertainment is bringing its first Colorado location to Parker.
The company is transforming the former AMC Classic Twenty Mile 10 into the new Emagine Parker, a 32,000-square-foot theater set to open next spring.
The theater will feature 10 screens, including two of Emagine’s signature EMX auditoriums, premium large-format theaters with massive screens, 4K projection and Dolby Atmos immersive sound. The seats will be heated recliners.
Emagine Parker will also offer a full-service bar, a first for the community, that includes craft cocktails, beer and wine.
“Parker is a vibrant community, and we look forward to creating a gathering place where friends and families can enjoy movies, entertainment and hospitality in a truly elevated way,” Emagine Entertainment partner Jon Goldstein said in a statement.
Troy, Michigan-based Emagine Entertainment operates 27 theaters with 330 screens in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Parker theater is its first venture outside of the Midwest.
“At Emagine, we believe seeing a film should be more than just watching a movie; it should be an experience that combines comfort, technology and hospitality,” Emagine Chairman and CEO Paul Glantz said in a statement. “With features like heated recliners, immersive EMX auditoriums and a full bar, we’re raising the bar for what guests can expect at a theater.”
