The Jewell, a 93-unit apartment property in Denver, has been sold to a California-based investor, Marcus & Millichap announced. The sale price was not disclosed.
The property at 4470 E. Jewell Ave. includes 53,050 rentable square feet on 1.17 acres. Built in 1968, the complex underwent renovations to its apartments, common areas and amenities before the sale.
The Jewell was about 55% occupied when it was sold. The buyer plans to increase occupancy and stabilize operations.
“The Jewell offered a fully repositioned asset with the opportunity to create value through lease-up and operational execution,” said Jason Hornik, managing director of investments at Marcus & Millichap.
Hornik and Greg Parker of the firm’s Denver office marketed the property for the seller, a New York-based investor, and secured the buyer.
