Private Alpine Club coming to Telluride Mountain Village

The exclusive , at the San Sophia Station in , will offer members four seasons of adventure, wellness and culinary experiences.

Developed by developer Southworth and longtime Telluride residents Scott and Laura Woodward, the 26,000-square-foot building will offer a full center, bars and restaurants, concierge services and entertainment.

“Lauren and I spent years searching for the perfect partner to help bring this dream to life,” Scott Woodward said. “Southworth instantly stood out to us. They don’t build and sell; they invest, they listen, and they lead with soul.”

Sitting at 10,540 feet and connected to downtown Telluride by the gondola, The Alpine Club will offer seasonal programming. Members can expect a calendar of events and experiences ranging from early morning tracks and premier access to mountain adventures to signature après gatherings and wellness retreats. Other have offered private clubs for decades.

Vail’s Game Creek Club offers private on-mountain dining and exclusive ski events, and the Arrabelle Club in Lionshead Village gives members ski runs, a lounge, lockers and spa privileges.

Beaver Creek Signature clubs in all three of the mountain’s villages provide social events, amenities and access to on-mountain fine dining locations for lunch during the winter.

But Telluride hasn’t had anything like it until now.

“The Alpine Club is unlike anything that currently exists in Telluride,” Southworth President Tommy Southworth said. “This is not just about ski access; it’s about creating an elevated lifestyle in one of the most extraordinary alpine settings in the world.”

Construction is expected to begin this fall, with the opening slated for the 2026-27 ski season.
