YellowDog provides print, design, branding and web solutions for businesses across Colorado. The company is led by Jenny Mulligan, owner, who, with Dan Mulligan, co-owner, built a culture centered on transparency, trust and loyalty. Over time, YellowDog expanded beyond commercial printing into creative and digital services while formalizing employee programs, community engagement and sustainability practices.

As the business matured, YellowDog embedded diversity, equity and inclusion into daily operations. Leaders discussed DEI in weekly all-staff meetings, marked Black History Month and Women’s History Month, and added Juneteenth as a company holiday. The company partnered with REVEL to deliver neurodiversity training and offered an employee assistance program to employees and their families. YellowDog earned recognition as a Colorado Green Business Network Silver Achiever, was certified as a minority women business enterprise and maintained Certifiably Green Denver status. Industry honors included Best Commercial Printer by The Colorado Sun and placement among Colorado’s Top 100 woman-owned companies.

Today, YellowDog focuses on client service and a people-first workplace. Professional growth is supported through mentoring, job shadowing and leadership education. Recognition is frequent, with “Cheers for Peers,” a weekly Unicorn Award and an annual printing credit.

Employees described YellowDog as dog-friendly, welcoming and “full of food, laughter and a shared commitment to getting the job done.” Team members said they felt involved and informed, noted that flexible accommodations supported work and family life, and highlighted perks such as snacks and event tickets. Staff explained that volunteer days, celebrations and bi-weekly all-hands meetings kept them connected to the mission and to one another.
