DENVER — Denver-based Pinkard Construction has joined Catamount Constructors, combining the local general contractor with the national employee-owned construction company.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The partnership gives Pinkard access to Catamount’s national resources while maintaining its Denver operations and existing client relationships. Catamount also adds Pinkard Frameworks, the company’s in-house wood-framing division, which self-performs framing on its own projects and serves developers and contractors across Colorado’s Front Range.
The companies said the combined organization will expand its capabilities for owners and developers while continuing to serve existing markets.
“Bringing them into Catamount as employee-owners feels like a natural next step,” said James Benning, CEO of Catamount. “It’s about investing in the people who built something great and giving them a stake in where it goes from here.”
Pinkard President Tony Burke said the partnership allows the company to expand its reach while maintaining its existing operations.
“Our clients get the same team they’ve trusted for decades, now backed by the resources and reach of a nationally recognized contractor,” Burke said.
Tom Alford, Catamount’s chief operating officer and a former Pinkard executive, said the partnership combines Pinkard’s experience in the Denver market with Catamount’s national platform.
Pinkard has operated in the Denver market for more than 30 years. Catamount Constructors is an employee-owned general contractor with operations in multiple markets across the United States.
