Kristin Lentz, 52, has served as Davis Graham’ & Stubbs’ co-managing partner since 2017. In her practice, Lentz represents private and public companies in mergers and acquisitions along with other deals, and has represented numerous oil and gas companies since joining the Denver firm in 2000.
Power “has a bit of a negative connotation for me,” noted Lentz. “To me, true power results from strong leadership, the ability to listen to those around you, an effort to foster dialogue, and being open to alternative views and change. Then you must use your position or life experience to implement that change and serve as an example for others.”
Lentz added that she finds her career very rewarding, but added that business law can be a difficult field, especially for young attorneys. “Motivation, drive, and persistence can take you a long way,” she said. “This mindset has not only shaped my career but also influences how I approach the ever-changing landscape of my practice and our firm’s role in the Denver legal community.”
