Mount Evans Freedom Run returns to Evergreen on July 4

EVERGREEN, Colo. — Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice will host its 44th annual Freedom Run 5K on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 8 a.m. at Evergreen Middle School.
The 5K course runs through Evergreen neighborhoods and is open to participants of all ages. Following the race, participants and spectators are invited to refreshments, music and family activities at the Evergreen Athletic Club and WagCellar Dog Park & Beer Garden.
Registration costs $45 for adults and $25 for participants under 18, with fees increasing on July 3.
Race registration is available online at FreedomRunRace.org or in person at the Mount Evans office, 3081 Bergen Peak Drive in Evergreen, through 6 p.m. July 2. Race-day registration will be available at Evergreen Middle School from 7 to 7:45 a.m.
Proceeds from registration will support Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice and its in-home health care, hospice, caregiver support, bereavement counseling and Camp Comfort grief camp programs serving Colorado foothill and mountain communities.
