Denver-based IMA Financial Group has expanded its investment advisory business with the addition of Coordinated Financial Services to its IMA Advisors division.
The deal adds three private wealth advisors and more than $400 million in client assets to IMA Private Wealth, according to the company. IMA said its registered investment advisor business now manages more than $8 billion in assets, including retirement plans and institutional investments.
“Colorado has always been a priority market for IMA, and the CFS team enhances our ability to provide comprehensive wealth management services to individuals and families here,” IMA Advisors President Michael Gregg said in a statement.
Coordinated Financial Services Managing Partner Matt Obert said the partnership gives the firm additional resources to support future growth while continuing to serve existing clients.
The addition of CFS is part of IMA’s broader expansion strategy for its advisory business. Recent additions to the division include Syntrinsic, an institutional investment advisor serving nonprofits and foundations, RedRidge, now operating as IMA Diligence Services, and TRG Investment Advisors, a retirement plan and private wealth advisory firm in New England.
