DELTA COUNTY — LLC has joined Colorado’s program, state officials announced.

In Brief:
  • Pathways Services LLC joins Colorado’s Rural Jump-Start program
  • Business will provide justice system support services in rural communities
  • Company receives $15,000 grant and employee tax incentives
  • One serves as the local sponsoring organization

Gov. Jared Polis and the Business Funding and Incentives division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade said the consulting and direct service organization will provide justice system support services to rural communities.

Pathways Services partners with local governments, courts and community organizations to develop diversion programs and skills-based interventions aimed at improving access to services and reducing strain on justice systems.

The Rural Jump-Start program supports economic development and in distressed rural counties. Pathways Services will receive $15,000 in grant funding to help launch operations. Eligible employees also qualify for a state personal income tax exemption.

Sponsoring organizations such as One Delta County help identify business applicants and support companies participating in the program.

“Rural Jump-Start empowers businesses, creates good-paying jobs and strengthens local economies across the state,” Polis said.

Leigh Anne Suppes, founder of Pathways Services, said the program allows the company to expand its services across Western Slope communities.

“This approval helps us invest in the people, infrastructure and regional relationships needed to expand supportive interventions that improve stability and reduce system strain,” Suppes said.
