Colorado Nonprofits to Know program launches statewide

DENVER, Colo.  — has launched , a new statewide program that recognizes 501(c)(3) organizations that are making measurable contributions to communities across the state.

The inaugural program highlights nonprofits that demonstrate leadership, innovation and impact in their work to strengthen Colorado communities. Organizers say the effort aims to elevate the nonprofits that are shaping the state’s future.

“Nonprofits play an essential role in Colorado’s growth and resilience,” said Maggie Drucker, nonprofit chair for Colorado Companies to Watch. “Through Colorado Nonprofits to Know, we are shining a spotlight on the organizations that inspire change, build connections, and embody what makes Colorado such an extraordinary place to live and work.”

Nominations are open and participation is free. Anyone may nominate a nonprofit and self-nominations are encouraged. Honorees will be selected based on leadership, innovation, impact, sustainability and community engagement. Selected organizations will receive statewide recognition through Colorado Companies to Watch events and platforms.

The program expands Colorado Companies to Watch’s mission to showcase excellence and influence in both business and nonprofit sectors.

Eligibility and Selection

Eligible organizations must be certified 501(c)(3) nonprofits based in Colorado or have a major presence in the state. They must have operated for at least three years and have annual budgets of $500,000 or more. Organizations must show measurable impact, strong leadership and a track record of sustainable growth.

Five honorees will be chosen in the first year. Winners will be announced in June 2026 and recognized at a statewide celebration hosted by Colorado Companies to Watch.
