DENVER — The fourth annual Tennyson Street Fair will return July 17-18 with new activities including a Wax Trax Records DJ pop-up, pickleball courts and a pre-festival run club.
The two-day neighborhood event will feature more than 200 local businesses along Tennyson Street, as well as food trucks, fitness activities and live music. Most events are free, except for the ticketed Berkeley Beer Festival.
Attendance has grown since the festival launched, increasing from 15,000 visitors in its first year to 28,000 in 2024 and 30,000 in 2025.
“Tennyson Street really comes alive in the summer, and you don’t need to go far to find fun,” said Ellie Hixenbaugh, event director for Team Player Productions, which produces the event. “This hometown block party turns that up, bringing together hundreds of local businesses in just a few blocks.”
The Berkeley Beer Festival will return Friday, July 17, from 5-9 p.m. with 18 Colorado breweries participating, including Wibby Brewing, Westbound & Down, 4 Noses, Cerebral Brewing, Outer Range Brewing and Alley Brews. Tickets start at $20, increase to $25, and reach $30 on the day of the event.
Friday programming will also include live music from 4-9 p.m.
Saturday’s activities will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and include a free run with Cooldown Running at 10:30 a.m., a yoga class with Ohana Yoga & Barre, reserved pickleball courts, a Wax Trax Records DJ set and a free bounce house.
The festival’s market area will feature nearly 200 local makers selling items including jewelry, rugs, spices, art, candles and skincare products. Food options will include Tennyson Street restaurants such as Hops & Pie and Bakery Four, as well as about 15 food trucks and pop-ups.
The event will take place along Tennyson Street from West 39th Avenue to West 43rd Avenue. Proceeds benefit the Tennyson Berkeley Business Association, which has received nearly $40,000 from funds raised through the partnership between Team Player Productions and the association since 2023.
